Oracle Cloud apps deliver quarterly release videos called Spotlights. We had always recorded these in a green screen studio at Oracle World Headquarters in Redwood Shores. However, when COVID restrictions hit in 2020, our VP's and product managers began to deliver Spotlights over Zoom from home. Here are some examples of "before and after" Spotlight videos, that demonstrate how we adapted our processes, producing compelling videos (100% remotely) that preserved the brand in a challenging year:

Our Producers shot this Spotlight right before Governor Newsom's Stay at Home Order in March 2020. This was the look of the Spotlight brand prior to shooting restrictions.
Here is a spotlight for the following quarterly release, in June 2020. We recorded the audio for this one over Zoom. Our Creative team decided to rely more heavily on animations, stock B-roll, text panels and screen-capture footage to preserve the brand.
As we continued to produce this way, I also discovered ways to optimize zoom sound quality during a recording. We found that remote talent can be coached to shoot professional video as needed, and many forms of corporate video can be produced without a live camera. In my freelance work in late 2020, I coached clients remotely to improve the production values of their recordings with little to no investment. Brand video can be done remotely, even during lockdown!
Here is the “before” version of New York Times Best-Selling Author and BingeBooks CEO Alessandra Torre shooting video on her laptop in her garage in the Florida heat. I did my best to filter the air conditioner hum in post, however it was very loud.
I suggested that she turn the air conditioner off during each take, adjust lighting to remove distracting shadows, and purchase a lavalier mic to improve sound and reduce reverb. We also found that her iPhone shot better video. Here is the resulting video!
Ken is someone you can trust to get the job done right. His attention to detail is noteworthy and he consistently focuses on delivering the best product possible regardless of timelines. Another strong suit that makes Ken such a valuable team member is his ability to work and communicate well with various levels within the organization. In terms of video skills, he’s a very talented cameraman, editor, producer, and voice-over artist. He’s also able to “stay connected” when working remotely with the same amount of attention to detail as one working on-site.
Overall, Ken is a dedicated, reliable, effective, and conscientious team player, who brings integrity and competence to whatever he does.
